　　On March 5^th, 2024, the Taiwan Marine Education Center (TMEC) convened the National Conference on Outdoor Education and Marine Education for the Academic Year 2024. Since the Academic Year 2021, the TMEC has supported the K-12 Education Administration from the Ministry of Education in the integration of outdoor education and marine education. This support extends to assisting local governments with various resource integrations and applications and with establishing "Outdoor Education and Marine Education Centers" in various counties and cities to construct an operational system with substantial benefits. The conference was organized by marine education and outdoor education offices of 22 county and city education bureaus nationwide and participated by teachers representing TMEC, and experts and scholars from community education institutions, colleges, and universities. The Department of Planning and the K-12 Education Administration of the Ministry of Education also dispatched delegates to attend. The conference disseminated information on the marine education and outdoor education operations in 2024, encompassing training courses, educational materials, and submission calls. Furthermore, it elaborated on the scheduling for the official marine literacy examinations, the 2024 Outdoor Education Conference, and other significant annual events. The aspiration is to enhance the promotion of outdoor education and marine education in 2024, providing a comprehensive integration of resources and exchange.
