　　On March 7, 2025, the TMEC convened the “ Briefing on the Subsidy Program for Outdoor and Marine Education for the 2025 Academic Year” at the GIS NTU Convention Center. The session opened with a policy overview delivered by Director Chin-Kuo Wu, who outlined the TMEC’s annual initiatives in outdoor and marine education. The event was also attended by Director Laura Lin from the Ocean Affairs Council and Deputy Section Chief Hsiao from the K–12 Education Administration of the Ministry of Education of Taiwan, both of whom delivered remarks of encouragement. The briefing provided participants with a comprehensive overview of the current year’s application procedures, proposal writing guidelines, and system operation guidelines. These aspects were explained by Hsin-Yu Teng (K–12 Education Administration), Director Chin-Kuo Wu (TMEC), and Professor Hsin-Jia Ho (National Taichung University of Science and Technology). An open Q&A session followed the presentations. Moreover, the briefing featured talks from frontline educators sharing practical implementation experiences. Principal Chen-Fu Tseng of Taipei Municipal Xingan Elementary School, Principal Huai-Hui Huang of Tainan Municipal South District Sishu Elementary School, and Teacher Mei-Yan Chen of Changhua County Datong Junior High School discussed key insights on program organization, curriculum development, and school-based implementation pathways. A total of 129 participants attended the event.
